Avatar Holdings Inc. is engaged in real estate operations, primarily development of lifestyle communities. In central Florida, Avatar is currently developing communities in Poinciana, the community of Bellalago and the active adult community of Solivita. Avatar is also developing and/or constructing homes in its Florida communities of TerraLargo in Lakeland and Banyan Bay in Martin County; and is developing and constructing homes in its community of Rio Rico, in southeastern Arizona.

Avatar also engages in a variety of other real estate - related activities, such as the operation of amenities, the sale of commercial and industrial land and the operation of a title insurance agency.
